Prime Minister Suga dedicated a potted offering called "Masakaki" to coincide with the annual spring festival of Yasukuni Shrine that began on the 21st.

At Yasukuni Shrine in Kudan, Tokyo, the annual spring festival began in a two-day schedule.



At the same time, Prime Minister Suga dedicated a potted offering called "Masaki" with a wooden tag stating "Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga".



Prime Minister Suga also dedicated "Masaki" at the annual autumn festival held in October last year after he took office.



In connection with this, Chief Cabinet Secretary Kato said at a press conference on the 20th, "Worshiping at Yasukuni Shrine and handling of'Masaki'are matters that Prime Minister Suga will make an appropriate decision."
