Prior to the Cabinet reshuffle, Prime Minister Kishida made personnel appointments to the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) in the morning.

Prime Minister Kishida said, "Japan is now in the midst of one of the greatest difficulties since the end of World War II, and we would like to unite and lead this country."

Prime Minister Kishida made changes to the Liberal Democratic Party's executives ahead of the cabinet reshuffle in the afternoon.



At the extraordinary meeting of general affairs, Vice Governor Aso and Secretary-General Motegi were reappointed, and


Election Policy Committee Chairman Endo was reappointed as General Affairs Chairman,


Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Hagiuda was appointed as Policy Research Chairman, and


former Diet Policy Policy Director Moriyama was appointed as Election Committee Chairman. It was officially decided to appoint a chairperson.



At the same time, in addition to the reappointments of ▼ Diet Committee Chairperson Takagi, ▼ Organizational Campaign Headquarters Director Obuchi, and ▼ Acting Secretary-General Kajiyama, ▼ Masatoshi Ishida, former Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications, was also appointed as Head of Public Relations Headquarters.



At the meeting of general affairs, Prime Minister Kishida said, "I want to make a fresh start and move forward with a new spirit to 'break through the difficulties' and 'decisively implement policies.' From this moment on, I would like you to face this difficult situation with a high sense of urgency.



This was followed by the first Board of Directors meeting under the new system.
