Prime Minister Kishida met with Komeito representative Yamaguchi and others one after another in preparation for the cabinet reshuffle and LDP executive personnel appointments to be held on the 10th, and received requests regarding personnel affairs.

On the evening of the 8th, we will decide to take charge of personnel affairs at an extraordinary board meeting of the Liberal Democratic Party and accelerate the adjustment.

On the morning of the 8th, Prime Minister Kishida met with Komeito representative Yamaguchi at the Prime Minister's Office for about 15 minutes.

Among them, Mr. Yamaguchi gave a list of members to recommend to cabinet ministers and vice ministers as Komeito for the cabinet reshuffle to be held on the 10th, and Prime Minister Kishida responded, "I have received your request."

Yamaguchi told reporters, ``Prime Minister Kishida emphasized that he had no time to respond to the new coronavirus and the security environment, and that he had to face it with a new stance. Please accept our request," he said.

After that, Prime Minister Kishida met with Sekiguchi, chairman of the House of Councilors of the Liberal Democratic Party, and former Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Takeda, who is the secretary general of the Nikai faction, and received requests regarding personnel affairs.

Prime Minister Kishida has confirmed his intention to retain Chief Cabinet Secretary Matsuno in a Cabinet reshuffle, and to retain Deputy President Aso and Secretary-General Motegi in party executive appointments.

In addition, we are making final adjustments to continue to appoint Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Hagiuda, who supports Abe in the Liberal Democratic Party, as an important cabinet member and four key government posts.

Then, on the evening of the 8th, an extraordinary meeting of the Liberal Democratic Party's board of directors and general affairs meeting will be entrusted with personnel affairs to accelerate coordination.
