In September 1911, the police pulled over here in Hammarby lake.

And pretty soon they found the two bodies that turned out to be the missing 16-year-olds Lisa Ström and Lilly Sundberg.

This is where Lisa and Lilly's forbidden love story ended.

A true story that the journalist and author Mian Lodalen traveled through and wrote a novel about.

- The girls had tied their bodies together and filled the skirts with stone so that they would sink, says Mian Lodalen.

During Pride week, one of the many activities you can do is walk in Lisa and Lilly's footsteps.

This year's theme is the key to freedom - then, now and for the future.

Hear Mian Lodalen tell more in the video.
