The two presidential candidates, Fabien Roussel under the label of the French Communist Party (PCF) and Jean Lassalle, with his Résistons! party, in turn obtained their 500 sponsorships necessary to be able to stand for election.
The candidates of the PCF and Résistons!, Fabien Roussel and Jean Lassalle, obtained their 500 sponsorships on Thursday to be able to stand in the presidential election.
They thus join Emmanuel Macron, who has 1,345 sponsorships when he has still not officially declared himself a candidate for his succession, Valérie Pécresse, Anne Hidalgo and Nathalie Arthaud.
The other candidates have until March 4 to collect these precious sesames.

Jean Lassalle now has 503 sponsorships.
Already a candidate for the 2017 presidential election, he obtained 1.21% of the vote in the first round, coming in seventh position out of eleven candidates.
Fabien Roussel, who is running for president for the first time, has 529 signatures.
Candidates in difficulty
Conversely, some candidates for the presidential election are still in difficulty, like the candidate Christiane Taubira who has only 73 sponsorships.
Marine Le Pen and Eric Zemmour are also struggling to bring them together.
The leader of the National Rally (RN) has 366 signatures and the Reconquest candidate!
