President Yoon Seok-yeol presided over the first official cabinet meeting today (26th) at the government complex in Sejong.
In his remarks, President Yoon said, "I visited Sejong several times last year and this year, and I remember the first day of my visit as the day the National Assembly Steering Committee passed the bill to establish the Sejong Shrine. It's new," he said.
"I will continue to work face-to-face with the State Councilors here in Sejong from time to time," he said.
President Yoon said, "In today's meeting, I would like to discuss in depth the 'vision and strategy of the new government in the local era'. As one of the six national goals, 'a local era where people can live anywhere in Korea' was selected."
