Russian President Vladimir Putin, who continues his military invasion of Ukraine, held a press conference after meeting with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukaschenko in the Far East of Russia.

In this, President Putin said, "In the current situation where Western countries are waging a full-scale war on sanctions against Russia and Belarus, it is important for both countries to deepen their integration." He emphasized his desire to accelerate discussions over the economy.



Regarding the ceasefire negotiations with Ukraine, he said, "Belarus is very suitable for future negotiations," and asked for cooperation in future negotiations.



President Putin also acknowledged that Western sanctions could affect the Russian economy in the medium to long term.
