President Moon Jae-in, who is on a state visit to Austria, said, "If North Korea agrees, we will actively promote cooperation in supplying vaccines to North Korea."

When asked about plans to provide vaccines to North Korea at a joint press conference after the summit with President van der Velen, President Moon said, "If South Korea plays a role as a global vaccine hub, North Korea will of course be a target for cooperation."

"The United States is also actively supporting humanitarian cooperation with North Korea," he added.
