An Iraqi refugee was crowned the world's fastest pizza maker, after he was able to make 3 large doughs in just 70 seconds, despite having no experience in this field before arriving in Britain when he was 16 years old.
And according to the British newspaper “metro”, the Iraqi of Kurdish origin, Zagros Jaf (33 years), dazzled the judges and a crowd of 8,000 people, when he competed with pizza makers from all over the world, and was able to win the title in the competition held in a hotel in the city of Las Vegas in the state of Nevada, USA.
The finalists traveled from all over the world to compete and had to prepare the fresh dough by hand, as well as the sauce and toppings on 3 large pizzas.

The competition involved cooking 3 types of pizza: pepperoni, mushrooms and cheese, and after training twice a week, for at least 7 or 6 weeks, Jaf was able to cook the three pizzas in 70 seconds.
Jaff has a $3,000 cash prize, a trophy, and a belt, and plans to defend his title in two years.
"It was a great moment to win, I've been making pizza for many years continuously. This competition means a lot to me, making pizza quickly and efficiently is what I do every day," Jaff said.
Jaff has worked in the pizza industry for 15 years, starting his career at the age of 16 in a pizzeria in Portsmouth, southeast Britain.
Jaff was previously named Supervisor of the Year, Manager of the Year at Domino's Pizza, and also won the chain's European record for 3 consecutive years, but said winning this competition was a completely different feeling for him.
