Premier League orders are changing hands.

Alone in the lead since early October, Chelsea had a very frustrating afternoon, Saturday, December 4 at the Olympic Stadium in London, the lair of West Ham United.

Everything had started well in this meeting of the 15th day of the championship.

Thiago Silva opened the scoring (28th), and even after Manuel Lanzini's equalizer from the penalty spot (40th), the Blues were ahead at the break thanks to a second goal signed by Mason Mount (44th).

But the Hammers returned to the score again through Jarrod Bowen (56th).

And at the end of the game, Chelsea sank on an improbable goal from Arthur Masuaku.

“So was it a cross or was it a shot ??!?

"

The side, who came into play at the very end of the first period, found himself in possession of the ball from the left wing. The international defender, in search of a solution, delayed a few moments before triggering a cross ... or a shot? A center-shot? It doesn't matter, because on arrival, his gesture capsized the stadium.

Édouard Mendy, the Chelsea goalkeeper

, could not anticipate the trajectory of the ball. And despite a dive back, the goalkeeper could not prevent this center-shot from finishing his race in the net (87th).

For the first time this season, Chelsea have conceded more than one goal in a game. And for the first time since joining West Ham in 2016, Arthur Masuaku has scored in the Premier League. The 28-year-old former Valenciennes and Olympiakos player did not hide his fun on social media over this victorious goal. “

So was it a cross or was it a shot ??!? (hint: I was as surprised as you are),

”the Leopard wrote on Twitter, with lots of hilarious smileys, as if to attest that it wasn't really on purpose.

Lucky or cheeky, this goal has consequences in the standings of the Premier League.

West Ham consolidates its 4th place (27 points) while at the top, Chelsea loses the lead.

The European champions are even relegated to 3rd place (33 points), because at the same time, on Saturday, Liverpool snatched the victory from Wolverhampton in the last seconds (1-0) and Manchester City dominated Watford at the also outside (3-1).

The Skyblues are the new leaders (35 points) ahead of the Reds (34 points).

So, was it a cross or was it shot ??!?
