After Germany on May 16, Portugal on Wednesday became the second major football championship to resume in Europe, after three months of stoppage due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A superb strike, full skylight, 30 meters. The first post-containment goal was long overdue, but it was worth it. Entered by Lucas Fernandes in the 49th, it allowed Portimonense to win 1-0 against Gil Vicente, in the first match of the 25th day, played behind closed doors like all games.

The penultimate of the classification, Portimonense temporarily returns to three points behind Paços Ferreira (16th) in the race for maintenance.

In the evening, the leader Porto moves to Falamicao (7th), with the support of his main group of supporters who decided to make the trip to encourage his team around the stadium, despite the rules of social distancing in force.

The return of the championship will allow Porto and its runner-up Benfica to restart their two-way race, while only one point separates them and Braga, third, follows 14 lengths from the head of the classification.
