According to the regulator’s press release, Gazprom faces a fine of up to € 50 million for failure to provide information on the construction of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline.

In 2018, UOKiK charged six companies with financing of construction without the necessary legal permission, including Gazprom.

In early 2020, the Polish antitrust regulator asked the Russian company to provide documents related to the case. It is noted that such documents were not provided.

In November 2019, the Polish UOKiK imposed a fine of 172 million zlotys (about $ 44.7 million) on the French company Engie because it “constantly and unreasonably refused” to send the requested documents.
