Los Angeles Police said Wednesday that investigators have identified the cause of the car crash that seriously injured Tiger Woods on February 23, without publicly disclosing it.
"A cause has been determined, the investigation is over," Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva said simply.
“We contacted Tiger Woods and his entourage.
Disclosure of information about the investigation poses confidentiality concerns, and we will ask them if they waive that confidentiality.
Then we will be able to make a full press release on all the information about the accident, ”he explained.
Shortly after the Tiger's car accident, the Los Angeles County Sheriff, in charge of the investigation, announced that Woods would not be prosecuted "for dangerous driving", arguing that it was "a simple accident ".
He added that there was then "no evidence" suggesting that the golf star was driving under the influence of drugs, drugs or alcohol at the time of the facts.
