Police officer jailed for rape and possession of child pornography

According to information from

, a 42-year-old Marseille police officer, suspected of rape, sexual assault and possession of child pornography, was arrested last week and then placed in pre-trial detention by the judge of freedoms.

The latter worked in the miners' brigade.

This case is the result of an investigation conducted by the IGPN (the police).
