Bremen / Hanover (dpa / lni) - The Bremen police did not record any problems in the first hours of the nightly exit restrictions.

A police spokesman said on Saturday.

In Bremen and Bremerhaven, the curfew had already started at midnight and lasted until 5 a.m.

Many citizens who were found on the street at night were not even aware of this, said the spokesman.

"But the people were understanding."

In the Hanover region and many other districts, the exit restrictions should begin on Saturday evening at 10:00 p.m.

According to the so-called federal emergency brake in the fight against the corona pandemic, the nightly exit is limited where the seven-day incidence (infections within seven days per 100,000 inhabitants) exceeds the threshold of 100 on three consecutive days.
