On February 24, local time, Polish government spokesman Mueller said that if Ukrainian refugees enter Poland, Poland will properly resettle them.

"We will provide Ukraine with humanitarian aid and weapons and ammunition to protect the border," Mueller said.

He also said that if Ukrainian refugees enter Poland, Poland will provide assistance.

On the morning of the same day, Polish Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration Kaminski said that in the next few hours, Poland will set up eight temporary refugee resettlement centers in Lublin and Carpathian provinces bordering Ukraine.

The ministry had previously estimated that 1 million Ukrainian refugees would enter Poland to seek asylum.

In addition, Poland is currently preparing a medical plan to provide medical assistance to wounded soldiers or people in Ukraine; the Polish border guards have also fully prepared for the influx of refugees.
