  Filipino athlete Asa Miller will compete in alpine skiing at the Winter Olympics.

Miller met the qualifying threshold for the slalom and giant slalom events, his second qualifying for the Winter Olympics.

Miller, one of the few Southeast Asian athletes to compete at the Beijing Winter Olympics, represented the Philippines at the 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea, finishing 70th out of 110 competitors.

  He said in an interview: "Gong Xi Fa Cai, Happy Chinese New Year! I am very happy and will participate in the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing. This is my second time representing the Philippines in the Winter Olympics. This is also my dream come true, I can't wait. Show the results of the past 4 years of training.
