  According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in the first quarter, the per capita disposable income of national residents was 10,345 yuan, a nominal increase of 6.3% over the previous year (6.32% after two decimal places), and a real increase of 5.1% after deducting price factors.

  Compared with the "national line" of 10,345 yuan, in the first quarter of 2022, the per capita disposable income of eight provinces in Shanghai, Beijing, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Tianjin, Guangdong, Fujian, and Shandong all exceeded the national average; although Chongqing failed to cross the "national line" , but has passed the 10,000 yuan mark, which is 10,240 yuan.

  In terms of growth rate, the three provinces of Tibet, Hubei, and Guizhou experienced gratifying growth in per capita disposable income in the first quarter, with a nominal growth rate of over 7%; in addition, Fujian, Sichuan, Anhui, Jiangxi, Hunan, Xinjiang, Chongqing, Hebei, Jiangsu, Ten provinces in Shandong outperformed the whole country, with a nominal growth rate of over 6.32%.

  Fang Xiaodan, director of the Household Survey Department of the National Bureau of Statistics, mentioned that the average monthly income of migrant laborers in the first quarter was 4,436 yuan, an increase of 5.9% over the same period of the previous year, which led to an increase in the wage income of rural residents.
