Good news !

If you have requested a Crit'air sticker and your car is classified as Crit'air 3, you will be able to benefit from a new reprieve.

Indeed, while the ban on these vehicles in the Greater Paris metropolis was scheduled for July 2022, it has been postponed for a year.

It will therefore only take effect on July 1, 2023.

Contrary to what happens elsewhere, particularly in certain neighboring countries, where the control of vehicles authorized or not to enter a "ZFE" is done by reading the license plate, it would seem that Paris is encountering some difficulties in approving cameras to set up “automated enforcement”.

Currently, it is mainly the police who check whether vehicles circulating in the metropolitan low-emission zone have their Crit'Air badge.
