Three police officers were injured, including two seriously, near a park in the 13th arrondissement of Paris on Wednesday afternoon. They were trying to control a homeless man suspected of exhibitionism. One of the officials drew his gun and fired several shots at the assailant, who is now in serious condition. 

Police officers were attacked near a Parisian park on Wednesday afternoon. Three police officers were injured, two of them seriously, by a man they were trying to control on rue Charles Moureu, near Parc de Choisy in the 13th arrondissement. The aggressor attacked them with an iron bar, according to the first elements of the investigation.

One of the officers retaliated by opening fire several times with his service weapon. The author of the iron bar was hit with several bullets. He is also in serious condition. It would be a homeless man that the police wanted to control because he was suspected of exhibitionism.
