In detail, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at the "LuLu International Group", Nanda Kumar, said that "(the group) has offered, through its outlets throughout the country, extensive discount offers on the occasion of the approaching Eid al-Fitr season," noting that "the discounts include basic food commodities. Such as fruits and vegetables, in addition to products such as rice, oils, sweets products, chocolates and various consumer goods, with discounts of up to 35%.”

He added that "(the group) has also launched an initiative of discounts on clothing products and electronic devices, with rates of up to 50%, as part of the (Eid al-Fitr) discount campaign, which will continue until the end of the Eid season."

Kumar pointed out that "the markets are currently witnessing remarkable competitive manifestations among retail outlets in offering various discount offers on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr."

In turn, the official spokesman for the “Aswaaq Group” centers, affiliated with the Governmental Investment Corporation of Dubai, Abdul Hameed Al Khashabi, said that “(the group) offered within its sales outlets discounts of more than 30% on a number of food commodities and consumer products on the occasion of the approaching Eid season. mushrooms.”

He added, "Although the group offered Eid discount offers early, about seven days ago, the outlets are witnessing an increasing turnout for buying Eid supplies," noting that "the group made the discount offers extended until the end of the Eid holiday, to provide more opportunities for shopping on the go. different times, and not to congregate at certain times in the outlets.”

For his part, Director of Community Relations at the Sharjah Cooperative, Faisal Khaled Al Naboodah, said that "the cooperative launched a campaign of discounts on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, which includes about 800 products, with discounts of up to 40%," noting that "the cooperative was launched for the first time as well, within Eid Sale, a special offer for loyalty card customers who subscribe to the “Taawuniyati” application, which gives them an additional discount of up to 20% in addition to the general discounts offered.”

He added, "The current period is witnessing competitive manifestations among various retail outlets regarding the introduction of discount initiatives before and during the Eid al-Fitr season to attract consumers," noting that "most of the discount offers are concentrated in food products and small electronic devices."
