Munich (dpa / lby) - The Bavarian Football Association evaluates the gradual easing for amateur sport after months of strict corona restrictions as a "small ray of hope".
For the period from May 10th, opening steps for the areas of schools, theater, cinema, gastronomy and sport have been announced.
Accordingly, in rural districts or urban districts with a stable 7-day incidence of less than 100, team training outdoors, with physical contact and without group restrictions is possible.
The prerequisite is that all participants have been vaccinated twice or have recovered or have a daily negative PCR test, POC antigen test or self-test.
"Despite the clear statements made by all experts that sport in the open air does not represent an increased risk of infection, the hurdles for Bavarian amateur footballers remain very high, and implementation is associated with considerable effort," said Jürgenaltenbacher, treasurer of the Bavarian Football Association (BFV ).
If the 7-day incidence is stable below 50, team training with contact is allowed even without a vaccination or negative test.
The prerequisite, however, is an individual decision on site: Approval by the responsible district administrative authority, which also defines the necessary protective and hygiene measures, is a basic requirement for the implementation of the easing.

"We have taken note of the fact that the cabinet has followed our urgent request for further relaxation for amateur football, but that is nothing more than a ray of hope," saidaltenbacher.
