One KBS employee was diagnosed with Corona 19, and the entire building in the main building in Yeouido went into emergency quarantine.
According to KBS on the 16th, an employee in charge of sound work in the office on the 3rd floor of the main building was tested positive for Corona 19 that day.
KBS immediately held an emergency response meeting and said it had implemented emergency quarantine for the entire facility in the main building.
It is said that the building is not closed, but all employees working in the same building will start working from home by the afternoon of the 17th.
KBS said, "In order to perform a seamless role as a broadcasting company in charge of disaster broadcasting, the essential personnel for broadcasting will wear protective clothing and masks and resume work after quarantine," he said.
Previously, one KBS outsourced production PD was also diagnosed with Corona 19, but it is known that it was infected by a different route because there was no contact with the sound staff.
A KBS official said, "Out of the 16 people who contacted the outsourced PD in the research building, 10 were negative, and the remaining 6 were waiting for the test results."
