25th of last month, after a pastor couple in their 40s who went to Nigeria was confirmed to be infected with Omicron, concerns about a serial infection are spreading.

Following the man in his 30s of Uzbekistan nationality who rode the same car as the pastor and his wife, the man's wife, mother-in-law, and acquaintances were all three additional confirmed cases.

All of the additional confirmed cases attended a church service in Incheon two days before they were confirmed.

Many people from a village in Incheon, where foreigners live, attended the worship service, and when the quarantine authorities opened an additional screening clinic in this village, people flocked to it.

In particular, it is known that 7 out of 9 confirmed cases of Omicron were not vaccinated, and many foreigners who attended the worship service at that time were also not vaccinated.

church that the Omicron confirmed patient went to was closed until the 12th, and the nearby streets were empty.

[Choi Young-ho / Incheon Michuhol-gu: No one visits right now.

Since then, no one has been there at all.

Nearby restaurants are being hit hard.

As concerns about the spread of Omicron grew, the government made it mandatory for all overseas travelers to quarantine for 10 days until the 16th.
