The Tokyo Olympics, the men's soccer bronze medal match, and the Japan-Mexico match, which will be held in Saitama City on the 6th, will start at 6 pm, two hours ahead of schedule.

This is a measure to avoid duplication of time as the soccer women's final was changed from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm as a measure against the heat.

The Japanese national soccer team was scheduled to play against Mexico in the 3rd place playoff at Saitama Stadium in Saitama City from 8 pm on the 6th to win the bronze medal for the first time in 53 years.

However, given that the temperature has been high for the past few days, the tournament organizing committee and FIFA = international soccer will be held at the national stadium from 11:00 am on the 6th. As a result of discussions with the federation, we decided to change the start time and venue and hold it at the Yokohama International Stadium from 9:00 pm.

Along with this, the Japan-Mexico match will be two hours ahead of schedule and will start at 6 pm to avoid duplication of time.

The venue will not change and will be held at Saitama Stadium.
