After a goalless first period between HV71 and Leksand, it happened all the more in the second.

Or as the home team's Emil Andrae summed up the period in C More's broadcast:

- Lots of rock and roll.

For first, Leksand took the lead, but a minute and 25 seconds later the equalizer came - and Tyler Vesel could celebrate his first SHL goal in his career.

The American, who scored 46 points in 52 regular season games for HV in the Hockeyallsvenskan last season, stayed ahead of Fredrik Forsberg's return.

After a fine individual performance, Vesle's compatriot Andy Miele was able to give the home team the lead when he threw the puck up in the crossbar.

But just 43 seconds later, Leksand equalised.

The guests won a draw in the offensive zone, Olle Alsing went ahead with a shot from the blue line that Justin Kloos headed in to make it 2-2.

Goalless in the third period as well and the match went to extra time.

There, Olle Alsing, who after two years abroad came back to Leksand for this season, only needed 40 seconds before he scored the winning goal 3-2.

- I shot and hoped for the best, he says after the match.
