Officially .. Determine the stadium of the final of the African Champions League

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced that the final match of the current edition of the African Champions League will be held at Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, Morocco, on May 30th.

CAF said in a statement posted on its website: "The previous leadership of the Confederation of African Football decided on July 17, 2019 that the winner of the African Champions League will be decided by one match, instead of the usual home and away final."

He added, "The Confederation of African Football received an offer from the Senegalese and Moroccan federations for the game to host the 2022 African Champions League final. The Senegalese federation withdrew its offer after that."

"Therefore, the Confederation of African Football is pleased to award Morocco the hosting for the 2022 African Champions League final," he added.

The final is scheduled to bring together the qualifiers from the Egyptian Al-Ahly meeting and the Algerian ES Setif in the first semi-final, and the superior from the Moroccan Wydad match and the Angolan Petro Atlético in the second match in the semi-finals.

Al-Ahly defeated its guest ES Setif without a response in the first leg of the semi-finals, while Wydad returned with a valuable victory from the stadium of its host, Petro Atlético, 3-1.

It should be noted that Al-Ahly and the Egyptian Football Association had objected to the final in Morocco, and demanded CAF officials to hold the match in a neutral stadium (away from the semi-final quarter).
