And the "Professional League Cup" will be played in the new season, according to the system of determining positions at the end of the first round matches, which are held in the "home and away" system, up to the quarter-finals, with the participation of 6 qualified clubs from the first round, in addition to the previously qualified Al-Jazira and Al-Ahly clubs.

According to the new amendments to the competition, the teams that exit from each stage of the league system play from one role to determine the positions in each stage, where the six teams that do not qualify for the quarter-finals play the league system from one role, so that each team plays with the other five teams for the positions From the ninth to the fourteenth.


On the other hand, matches will be held between the four teams that do not qualify for the semi-finals in the league system, from one round to the positions from the fifth to the eighth. As for the two teams that leave the semi-finals, one match will be held between them to determine the third and fourth places.

Khorfakkan and Al-Wahda cut the tape of the first-round first-leg matches, with an early confrontation on October 8, 2021, at Saqr bin Muhammad Al Qasimi Stadium, because Al-Wahda is linked to participating in the AFC Champions League quarter-final against Al-Nasr Saudi Arabia on October 16, provided that the same role is completed with the matches of Kalba and Al-Uruba, Al-Ain and the Emirates. , Ajman and Sharjah, on October 15, and the first round first leg ends on Saturday evening, October 16, 2021 with the matches of Al Dhafra and Al Nasr, Baniyas and Al Wasl.
