“In 2022, the Severomors are planning to take part in the traditional international rescue exercise Barents,” RIA Novosti reported.
From the Northern Fleet, up to two rescue vessels, helicopters and aircraft of the Air Force and Air Defense Combine, which are equipped for the search and rescue of people at sea, are involved in the exercise.
Earlier, the marines of the Northern Fleet held exercises in the Murmansk region to detect and eliminate a mock enemy.
