TASS was informed about this in the press service of the company.

"The German Federal Network Agency has published information on the temporary suspension of the certification procedure in connection with the establishment of a subsidiary of Nord Stream 2. Our company is taking this step to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations," the company said.

At the same time, the gas pipeline operator refused to comment on the details of the procedure and to name its timing, as well as how this will affect the timing of the commissioning of Nord Stream 2.

Earlier, the German regulator suspended the certification of Nord Stream 2 AG as an independent operator of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.
