Jang Je-won's son and rapper "Noel" Yong-jun Jang, who refused to take a breathalyzer and assaulted a police officer, was arrested on charges of aiding driving without a license.

The Seocho Police Station in Seoul is investigating a passenger A, who was riding next to Jang on the day of the incident on the 18th of last month, on charges of aiding driving without a license.

At first, it was predicted that Mr. A would be charged with aiding drunk driving, but Jang was not charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.

This is because the charge of aiding is established only when the charge is first applied to the main offender who committed the crime.

The police previously applied for an arrest warrant for Jang on five counts, including refusal to take a breathalyzer test, obstruction of public duty, driving without a license, and property damage and injury under the Road Traffic Act.

On that day, Jang refused to take a breathalyzer test, and although there is circumstantial evidence such as CCTV footage, it was judged that it is difficult to apply the charge of drunk driving without blood alcohol concentration.

Jang will be questioned before arrest at the Seoul Central District Court on the 12th, 24 days after the incident.
