Currently, Ningbo Zhoushan Port has a total of 278 routes, maintaining the highest position in history.

  Ningbo Zhoushan Port is China's main bulk commodity transshipment base. Its cargo throughput has remained the world's largest for 12 consecutive years, and its container throughput ranked third in the world last year.

  It is reported that the annual container throughput of Ningbo Zhoushan Port exceeded 20 million TEUs for the first time on December 24, 2015.

This is the first time that it broke through in August this year.

  Since the beginning of this year, Zhejiang Seaport Group and Ningbo Zhoushan Port Group have actively built a "dual cycle" hub.

As of the end of July, the number of related routes between Ningbo Zhoushan Port and countries and regions along the “Belt and Road” has increased to 112.

  In terms of sea-rail combined transport, Ningbo Zhoushan Port has successfully opened the Shanxi-Zhejiang sea-rail combined transport train, built the Xi’an International Port-Ningbo Zhoushan Port land-sea combined transport channel, encrypted Yuyong, Rongyong and other trains, and cooperated with Mediterranean Shipping, COSCO SHIPPING, CMA CGM, etc. opened a number of special trains for shipping companies.

At present, there are 19 sea-rail intermodal trains in Hong Kong, covering 60 prefecture-level cities in 15 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) in China. In the first half of this year, the volume of sea-rail intermodal transportation increased by more than 28% year-on-year.

  On July 1, the "Star" Yiwu-Ningbo Zhoushan Port Sea-Rail Combined Transport Train was successfully launched, realizing the seamless connection between the e-commerce sea-rail combined transport train and the shipping company's e-commerce shipping express line, providing a cross-border line for enterprises in the hinterland of Zhejiang.   At the same time, Ningbo Zhoushan Port actively integrates into the integrated development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the Yangtze River Delta, strengthens service linkage with the Yangtze River, and expands container internal support and domestic trade business and iron ore and other bulk cargo businesses.

  From January to July 2021, Ningbo Zhoushan Port completed a cargo throughput of 718 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.6%; completed a container throughput of 18.684 million TEUs, a year-on-year increase of 17.1%.
