With an average temperature of 18.6°C and 161.1 mm of rain in nine months, the Côte d'Azur capital has just recorded the driest and hottest since 1947, when the first meteorological readings were recorded on the territory.
According to information shared by Météo-France Sud-Est on Twitter, Bastia is also affected by this record.
