In Benin, is it time for the political climate to ease?
For the first time since 2016, President Patrice Talon and his predecessor and opponent Boni Yayi met on Wednesday.
The atmosphere was certainly cordial, but the former president pleaded for the release of political prisoners, the end of political arrests and the return of exiles.
