The technical staff of the national football team, led by Colombian coach Jorge Luis Pinto, has chosen a new list for the team that included 28 players in preparation for running a new internal camp in Al Ain, starting tomorrow, Monday, so that the team will leave for its external camp in Europe, specifically in Serbia, next Wednesday and will continue until the 23rd of this month in its preparations. To run the remaining matches in the joint qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 Asian Cup in Group Seven, which included alongside Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.

The new list witnessed the disqualification of four players, most notably Al Ain player Kayo Canido, next to Sharjah goalkeeper Adel Al Hosni and Al-Ahly youth player Mohammed Marzouq and Al Wasl player Ali Salmin. The list included the players: Khaled Issa, Ali Khasif, Muhammad Al Shamsi, Khaled Al Sinani, Muhammad Barghash, Abdulaziz Heikal, Salem Rashid, Khalifa Al Hammadi, Faris Juma, Muhammad Ahmed, Walid Abbas, Ismail Ahmed, Youssef Jaber, Majed Hassan, Tariq Ahmed, Khamis Ismail, Ahmed Barman, Khalil Ibrahim, Ali Saleh, Abdullah Ramadan, Khaled Bawazir, Bandar Al-Ahbabi, Khalfan Mubarak, Omar Abdel Rahman, Fabio Lima, Ali Mabkhout, Ahmed Khalil and Sebastian Tigali.
