On June 16, data released by the National Bureau of Statistics showed that in May 2022, the sales prices of commercial residential buildings in 70 large and medium-sized cities continued to decline from the previous month, but the decline slowed down, and the newly built commercial residential buildings continued to decline. The number of cities with a month-on-month decline decreased; the year-on-year increase in the sales price of commercial housing in first-, second-, and third-tier cities all declined or expanded, and the number of cities with a year-on-year decline increased.

  The sales price of new commercial residential buildings in first-tier cities rose by 0.4% month-on-month, an increase of 0.2 percentage points from the previous month; second-tier cities fell by 0.1% month-on-month, the same rate of decline as the previous month; third-tier cities fell by 0.3% month-on-month, with a decrease of 0.3 percentage points from the previous month .

  The sales price of second-hand housing in first-tier cities changed from a month-on-month increase of 0.4% to flat; second-tier cities fell by 0.3% month-on-month, the same rate of decline as the previous month; third-tier cities fell by 0.5% month-on-month, and the decline was 0.2 percentage points higher than the previous month.
