  First, economic development is resilient.

The fundamentals of my country's long-term economic improvement have not changed, nor has the trend of sustained economic recovery.

Second, there are conditions for scientific epidemic prevention.

Since the beginning of this year, the characteristics of the spread of the new crown epidemic have undergone new changes, but as long as we adhere to scientific epidemic prevention, we can gradually block the spread of the epidemic and reduce the adverse impact on economic and social development.

The third is strong policy support.

In terms of finance, tax cuts and fee reductions will continue to increase this year, and the annual tax cuts and fee reductions will reach 2.5 trillion yuan.

Faced with the complex situation, the implementation of macro policies will be further strengthened.

[Explanation] Fu Linghui said that in general, China's economy continued to recover and develop in the first quarter, and the overall operation was within a reasonable range.

At the same time, he also emphasized the difficulties and challenges facing the current economic development.

In general, my country's economy continues to recover and develop, and the overall operation is within a reasonable range.

At the same time, we must also see that the environment at home and abroad is becoming more complex and uncertain, and economic development is facing many difficulties and challenges.

In the next stage, we will coordinate epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development, adhere to the principle of stability and seek progress while maintaining stability, put stable growth in a more prominent position, intensify the implementation of macro policies, and do a solid job of "six stability" and "six guarantees". Work, focus on stabilizing the macroeconomic market, continue to stabilize employment and prices, effectively protect people's livelihood, and keep the economy operating within a reasonable range.
