According to a survey by the Rabota.ru service (available to RT), 34% of the polled residents of Russia from different regions voted for Altai.

Survey participants rated the beauty and richness of nature (86%), a large number of attractions (53%), silence and solitude (44%) also became important factors of choice.

30% of respondents gave their preference to Sochi.

They noted the beauty of nature (74%), a large number of attractions (54%), and the fact that the city is a popular tourist destination (35%) turned out to be attractive.

28% of respondents voted for St. Petersburg.

They singled out such qualities of the city as a large number of attractions (79%), transport accessibility and relatively inexpensive tickets (67%), as well as a large number of entertainment venues (28%).

The ranking of the best tourist destinations also includes the Republic of Karelia (27% of votes) and the Caucasus (24%).

Among the most popular destinations for domestic tourism was also the Golden Ring of Russia (21% of votes).

16% of the polled Russians chose Kamchatka as the most popular destination, another 16% chose Kazan.

Moscow closes the rating of popular destinations - 13%.

In total, more than 3,000 people from all regions of the country took part in the survey, which included the possibility of choosing several answers.

Earlier, the executive director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) Maya Lomidze named the main trends of the upcoming summer vacation season.
