Drones have been in use for decades, but never have they played such a crucial role as in the Karabakh conflict.

The Azerbaijani army has a fleet of state-of-the-art drones and makes massive use of them while Armenia has only a handful of small drones.

And this is what makes the fight unequal today.

Azerbaijani drones guide the shots, they spy on the enemy and above all they directly strike their targets with incredible precision.

The best known is the Turkish attack drone Bayraktar, which flies at an altitude of 5,000 meters, that is to say beyond the reach of most anti-aircraft systems and it is precisely its priority task to destroy the Armenian anti-aircraft defense. 

And there we could see in Karabakh that all Russian systems, even those specialized anti-drones, are destroyed by the Bayraktar, but also by the Israeli kamikaze drone Harop, which patiently tracks its prey in the air then falls on it like a missile.

These drones are the fear of the Armenian military.

And it's not just them.

Vladimir Putin is also impatient to find a solution to the lethal weapon of his rival Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
