During the event, which was held at the Higher Colleges of Technology for Boys in Dubai, in the presence of Sarah Al Amiri, Minister of State for Public Education and Advanced Technology, Chairman of the Emirates School Education Foundation, and Sarah Al Nuaimi, Director of the Office of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives organizing the Arab Reading Challenge, the student was crowned Muhammad Ali Al Yamahi, grade 12 applicant at Hamad Bin Abdullah Al Sharqi School in Fujairah, won the championship title for the UAE in the challenge in which 354,846 students from 689 schools participated under the supervision of 1378 supervisors. Male and female students from 44 countries around the world.
Sarah bint Youssef Al Amiri said, “The wise leadership of the UAE has placed education at the forefront of priorities over the past fifty years of the union, and has allocated a pivotal place in its vision over the coming decades. Linking with the heritage and civilizational and cultural values of the people of the Emirates to consolidate the development model of the state and its global position.”
And qualified for the finals at the level of the Emirates ten top, of whom the jury selected the champion of the challenge at the level of the Emirates for this year's session.
In addition to the first winner, the list of the top ten who excelled in the Arab Reading Challenge in its sixth session at the UAE level included Muhammad Issa Al Hammadi from grade 11 advanced from Al Adwaa Private School in Al Ain, and Ahmed Muhammad Al Hammadi from grade 12 at the Secondary School of Applied Technology in Ajman, And Aisha Abdullah Al-Souqi from grade 10 at Fatima Al-Zahra School in Sharjah, Muhammad Ibrahim Al-Mansoori in grade 12 at the Applied Technology High School in Ras Al Khaimah, Aisha Abdullah Al-Zahmi in grade 10 at Murbah Secondary School in Fujairah, and Saeed Al-Kaabi Kindergarten from grade 4 at Al-Shaheen School in Al-Ain, and Fatima Amer Saleh From grade 11 at Maria al-Qibtia School in Dubai, Muhammad Hassan al-Kfoury from grade 9 at Al Amir Secondary School in Umm Al Quwain, and Abdullah Muhammad Ramadan in grade 11 at Bida Al Mutawa School of Al Dhafra Educational Administration.
As for the distinguished schools, Al-Nouf School, a second cycle for girls, from the Sharjah Educational District, came first. As for the Distinguished Supervisor Award, Ms. Mona Shaheen Al-Hammadi from the Khorfakkan Education District won its first place.
