Kim Gun-hee, who is visiting Spain where the NATO summit is held with President Yoon Seok-yeol, on the 29th (local time) and the spouses of the leaders of the participating countries established friendships through culture and art.

Following the welcome gala dinner the day before, she met the spouses of the participating countries two days in a row, building a bond.

According to the presidential office, on that day, according to the Spouse Program hosted by the Spanish royal family, Kim visited the Palace of San Ildefonso, northwest of Madrid, the nearby Royal Glass Factory, and the National Museum of Art, Queen Sofia.

Prior to the start of the program, she exchanged a Spanish 'cheek greeting' with her 'host', Queen Leticia of Spain.

The couple, born in 1972, shared interests the night before at a dinner hosted by King Philip VI of Spain.

The first destination, the Palace of San Ildefonso, was built by King Philip V of Spain (1683-1746) and used as a summer residence.

Reminiscent of Philip V's childhood at the Palace of Versailles under his grandfather, Louis XIV, the garden adorned with various statues and fountains is the highlight.

During a group photo in front of a fountain, Kim was caught having a pleasant conversation with Jill Biden, the spouse of former President Joe Biden, right next to her.

Mrs. Kim watched the glass work process at the Royal Glass Factory, which was established for royal supply in the 18th century.

In the afternoon, we visited the National Art Gallery of Queen Sofia, Spain's representative contemporary art museum.

A number of works by Spanish 20th-century surrealist artists such as Salvador Dali and Joan Miro are exhibited here.

It is also famous for the collection of Pablo Picasso's masterpiece 'Guernica' (1937), painted while criticizing the Nazi massacre of civilians.

Mrs. Kim, who had been running an exhibition planning agency for many years before the inauguration of President Yoon, showed great interest while visiting the museum that day.

After the spouse program ended, Ms. Kim visited an eco-friendly upcycling company named 'Ecolf', looked at clothes made from eco-friendly materials, and held a meeting with the company's officials.

Ms. Kim has been showing her green interest, including posting her environmental messages after she made her own personal Instagram account public in April.

She said that Mrs. Kim was on her day, she was wearing a white short-sleeved dress and had white gloves on her hands.

She always caught her attention by wearing the Taegeukgi badge on the left color of her top, even though Ms. Kim changed her outfit several times by this day, the third day of her visit to Spain.
