Ichiro, who hit a total of 4367 hits in professional baseball and major league baseball and retired from active duty, visited a high school in Tokyo and taught batting and base running to the students of the baseball club.

Mr. Ichiro instructed the baseball club of Kokugakuin Kugayama High School in Suginami-ku, Tokyo, and Mr. Ichiro, who visited the ground with a surprise, said, "I don't know if I can teach it properly, but let's practice together."

Kokugakuin Kugayama won the autumn Tokyo tournament, which is an important resource for deciding which school to participate in Senbatsu next spring.

The students of the baseball club sent a letter saying, "I want to get better at baseball," and Ichiro himself entered the turn at bat and shot a sharp ball in practice because this instruction was realized.

Also, in the practice of base running, he advised on how to swing his arm with a gesture, saying, "If you swing back, you can take one step longer and run faster."

After retiring from active duty, Ichiro, who hit a total of 4367 hits in professional baseball and major league baseball, regained the qualifications necessary for teaching student baseball, and was teaching at Chiben Wakayama High School for the first time last year. Means that he plans to visit two other schools.
