A 23-year-old woman and her mother have both been indicted in Strasbourg. They are suspected of the murder of the mother's spouse, we learned on Friday from the prosecution.
At the end of her custody, the young woman was indicted for murder and placed in pre-trial detention. His mother, also in custody, was indicted for aiding and abetting murder. The latter was, however, released under judicial supervision, said the Strasbourg prosecutor, confirming information from the Latest News from Alsace (DNA).
His weapon turned against him
On the night of Monday to Tuesday, a septuagenarian died at his home after receiving a stab wound in the upper thorax. His companion, who called for help, and her daughter, both there, were arrested.
It was “a basic couple dispute”. The victim "had a knife in her hand and she [the girl] disarmed him and used the knife against him," a police source told AFP.
