“With the blessing of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia, Moscow’s churches are opening for parishioners,” the message said.

Parishioners' access to churches will be subject to all necessary sanitary and epidemiological requirements, including social distance with the participation of believers in services and the maximum allowable capacity (1 person per 4 sq. M).

As noted, the Cathedral Cathedral of Christ the Savior and the Epiphany Cathedral in Yelokhov will open for parishioners on June 2.

Earlier, in the Moscow region, believers were allowed to participate in worship services on the street and to attend churches of the Russian Orthodox Church during non-service hours.
