A reporter asked a question. In recent years, many cross-strait youth employment and entrepreneurship bases and demonstration sites have been established across the mainland. Please introduce the development of these bases, demonstration sites, and the newly established bases in 2021.
Ma Xiaoguang said that in order to help young Taiwanese come to the mainland to pursue their dreams and realize their dreams, we are actively building a platform. Since 2015, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council has established 78 employment and entrepreneurship bases and demonstration sites for youth across the Taiwan Strait, including 59 bases and demonstration sites. 19, covering various platforms such as parks, schools, business incubators, enterprises and social groups.
These bases and demonstration sites hold various exchange activities, provide internships and employment positions, mentoring and training for Taiwanese youths, and help Taiwanese youths in internships, employment, entrepreneurship and innovation in the mainland.
According to statistics, by the end of 2021, the bases and demonstration sites have served and settled in more than 4,500 Taiwanese youth investment companies and entrepreneurial teams, more than 20,000 Taiwanese youths who have practiced, employed and started businesses, and nearly 200,000 people have participated in various exchange activities.
Ma Xiaoguang introduced that in 2021, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council will set up two new cross-strait youth employment and entrepreneurship bases, namely Chengdu (Xingdian) Cross-strait New Economic Entrepreneurship Park in Sichuan, and a cross-strait youth cultural industry incubation base in Furong District, Changsha, Hunan.
By focusing on serving start-ups and employing professional teams to operate, we provide Taiwan youth and entrepreneurial teams with services such as business incubation, business consulting, and capital and market connection.
In the next step, we will continue to support the bases and demonstration sites to become bigger and stronger, together with relevant parties from all over the world, to create a better environment and provide better services for Taiwanese youth to develop in the mainland.
