His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, visited today, Saturday, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Supreme Chairman of the Emirates Airline Group, the Bolivia and Cuban pavilions at Expo 2020 Dubai, as part of His Highness’s keenness to inspect some of the pavilions of the participating countries in the major global event held under the slogan “Connecting Minds and Creating the Future” and featuring 192 pavilions. state, in addition to the participation of the most important institutions, organizations, international bodies and the elites of innovators and creators from all over the world.

During the visit, His Highness stressed the importance of the ideas and visions contained in the global event, which in total constitute a strong base to build upon and launch from for a prosperous future, in which everyone enjoys prosperity, development and growth, indicating that the UAE, with its capabilities and expertise in various fields, will be supportive of all Ideas that will bring happiness to all of humanity and change people's lives for the better, from the Emirates to the world.

His Highness’s tour of Expo 2022 Dubai began with a visit to the Bolivia pavilion located in the Sustainability Zone and bearing the slogan “Energy is Life”, where he was briefed on the innovations it offers in the field of energy and sustainable development projects using the latest technologies, and the cultural and environmental diversity that Bolivia boasts, including It has the largest salt flats in the world, all the way to the Amazon jungle.

The pavilion focuses on Bolivia's great development potential in the main areas of the new global economy, including alternative energy sources, electric cars, and the investment opportunities it offers in the fields of renewable energy, modern technologies, gas, oil and others. The pavilion also promotes Bolivia as a new destination for eco-tourism.
