Mohammed bin Rashid discusses with the President of Uruguay strengthening bilateral cooperation and economic partnership
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, met today with the President of the friendly Eastern Republic of Uruguay, Luis La Caille Po, who is currently visiting the country to participate in his country's celebrations of its National Day at Expo 2020 Dubai, in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance.
During the meeting, which took place during a tour of the Uruguayan pavilion at the Expo, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid expressed his welcome to President Luis La Caye Po and the accompanying delegation.
The discussion touched on the development of bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them, especially in terms of economic, investment and technical cooperation, and the discovery of new opportunities that serve the development goals of both sides, in a way that lives up to the aspirations of the two friendly peoples, and strengthens bridges of communication between the UAE and Latin American countries in general.
During the meeting, they reviewed the role of Expo 2020 Dubai in consolidating ties between the peoples of the world and its contribution to achieving more rapprochement between its countries, which provides an opportunity to learn about the cultures of the world, in addition to the large global event that provides a large space to learn about the latest innovations and solutions that contribute to Creating a better world in which everyone shares opportunities for progress and growth.
For his part, President Luiz not Cahe Bo expressed his deep gratitude to the grandfather in the UAE welcoming and good reception, stressing his country's keenness to develop ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and expressed the hope that the participation of Uruguay at the Expo as well serve this to achieve the goal.
He also expressed the President of Uruguay, our sincere congratulations to the UAE leadership of the state and people on the outstanding organization of the Expo with take place for the first time in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, and appreciation for the leading role played by the UAE at the international level, especially in promoting dialogue and understanding, coexistence and peace, wishing the people and the leadership UAE more success, progress and prosperity.

His Highness watched what Panama offers in its pavilion of various tourist attractions, most notably its picturesque natural environment and rich wildlife, in addition to the famous coffee plantations that produce some of the best types in the world, in addition to five sites included in Panama registered on the list of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization Science and Culture "UNESCO" World Heritage.
