His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister in his capacity as Ruler of Dubai, issued decrees numbers (16), (18) and (19) for the year 2020 appointing and promoting his judges in Dubai courts.
Decree No. (16) for the year 2020 stipulated the promotion of Judge Abdel Qader Mousa Muhammad Abdul Rahman, a first Cassation Judge, and his appointment as President of the Court of Cassation, and Decree No. (18) of 2020 to assign Judge Omar Ateeq Al-Marri, Senior Cassation Judge, to perform the duties of Deputy Director of Dubai Courts, while Decree No. (19) of 2020 stipulates the appointment of Judge Muhammad Mubarak Obaid al-Sabousi, Judge of Cassation, as President of the Courts of First Instance, and shall be implemented by the three decrees from the date of their issuance, and to be published in the Official Gazette.
His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Judicial Council, issued decisions No. (8), (9), (10) and (11) for the year 2020 to assign judges headed by some of the specialized courts of first instance in Dubai.
Decision No. (8) of 2020 stipulates that Judge Dr. Abdullah Saif Abdullah Al-Shamsi, Judge of Cassation, chaired by the Criminal Court of the First Instance Courts, and Resolution No. (9) for the year 2020 on the assignment of Judge Ayoub Ali Hatem Ahli, a first appeals judge, presided over by the Civil Court of the Courts of First Instance, and Resolution No. (10) for the year 2020 on the assignment of Judge Salem Muhammad Salem al-Qaidi, a first appeals judge, presided over by the Real Estate Court of the Courts of First Instance, and Resolution No. (11) of 2020 on the assignment of Judge Khaled Obaid Hamid al-Mansuri, an appeals judge, at the Presidency of the Commercial Court of the Courts of First Instance, to be enforced with the four decisions from the date of their issuance, to be published in the newspaper Official.
