His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, affirmed that the UAE has established solid foundations for the medical sector by providing all advanced capabilities and infrastructure, to provide the best health care services, with the help of trained and highly qualified medical cadres, in addition to partnerships The state is with the major international medical institutions, where our goal always remains to preserve the health and safety of all members of society, at all times.

This came during the visit of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, to the activities of the first day of the “Dubai Health Forum 2022” in its fourth session. His Highness was received upon his arrival at the Dubai World Trade Center by the Minister of Health and Community Protection, Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad Al Owais, and the Director General of the Dubai Health Authority, Awad Saghir Al Ketbi.

The forum, which concludes today, will bring together more than 2,000 participants from 30 countries, a gathering of senior officials of health institutions inside and outside the country, a large crowd of decision-makers, scientists and doctors, in addition to the participation of a leading group of major companies producing smart medical technologies and solutions.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum welcomed the forum participants from all over the region and the world, stressing the UAE's keenness to adopt and encourage ideas and innovations that ensure safety for society and contribute to the development and advancement of efforts to advance human health.

His Highness witnessed part of the main session of the forum, which witnessed a diverse agenda, in the presence of a large number of officials, specialists and workers in the fields of welfare, health care, quality control, consultancy, research, and business development, as well as pharmacists, health technicians, and medical students.

In addition, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum visited the exhibition of smart medical technologies and solutions accompanying the forum, where His Highness was briefed on the latest digital technologies and modern equipment presented by the largest technology producing companies in the world.

His Highness visited the authority’s pavilion at the exhibition, where he listened to an explanation about the authority’s projects and future plans, including the project to establish a distinguished global center for heart diseases and surgery, which is planned to be the best and most modern in the region. His Highness was also briefed on the details of the control and follow-up center at Rashid Hospital , who specializes in following up heart patients in their homes after receiving the necessary treatment in the hospital.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum's visit included reviewing the latest smart technologies used by the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, including the "Medicine's Eye" technology, the first of its kind in the region, and the details of the "smart board" that the Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services recognizes.
