Mohamed bin Zayed receives the Vice-President of the Sovereignty Council of the Republic of Sudan
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received today Lieutenant-General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, Vice-President of the Sovereignty Council of the brotherly Republic of Sudan.
During the meeting, which took place at Al Bahr Palace, His Highness welcomed the Vice-President of the Sovereignty Council, wishing him a successful visit to the UAE, while the guest conveyed to His Highness the greetings of General Abdel-Fattah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sovereign Council in Sudan, and his wishes of good health and happiness to His Highness and to the UAE continued security. and prosperity.
His Highness and General Mohamed Dagalo discussed brotherly relations and ways to enhance joint cooperation between the two brotherly countries in various fields that serve their common interests. They also exchanged views on a number of issues and files of common concern.
The Vice-President of the Sovereignty Council briefed His Highness on the latest developments in the Sudanese arena.
He also renewed his country's condemnation and denunciation of the Houthi terrorist attack against the UAE recently, which contradicts all international laws and norms, stressing Sudan's solidarity and standing by the UAE in the face of all that threatens its sovereignty, security and stability.
For his part, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan affirmed the UAE's commitment to continue supporting the brotherly Sudan to achieve the aspirations of its people for peace, stability, development and prosperity.
His Highness also expressed his thanks and appreciation for the position of the brotherly Republic of Sudan and its solidarity with the UAE towards the Houthi terrorist attack against it, wishing this country and its brotherly people stability and security, moving towards development paths, prosperity and achieving all that the brotherly Sudanese people aspire to.
